My recent stay at Quality Airport Hotel Vaernes was a mixed experience. The location, despite the name, is not very close to the airport, which was a bit misleading. The room we booked with an extra bed was cramped, leaving us practically climbing over furniture to move around. However, the staff was fantastic, going above and beyond to assist us.The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a wide variety of options and the waffles in the afternoon were a delightful treat. Despite the initial room hiccup, the warm and helpful staff made up for it. The hotel's proximity to the airport and the convenience of free parking were definite pluses.Quality Airport Hotel Vaernes is an above-average choice for business or airport stays. It's clean, friendly, and the breakfast spread was one of the largest we've encountered in Norway. While there were some room issues, the staff's hospitality and the easy access to the airport made it a pleasant stay.
